Hi friend! Glad you're here. I'm Katelyn, and I'm an artist of all things outdoors based in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. My main passion for painting comes from my time spent in the great outdoors of Chilliwack and beyond.

 

Through my childhood, I grew up surrounded by forests and farmland, which inspired many drawings and sketches of the beauty I saw. Since then I have expanded my interests from drawings in my sketchbook to large paintings of new mediums.

 

I also recently spent two seasons as a tree-planter in Northern British Columbia, which ignited my love for the outdoors of BC even more; thus beginning this journey. I am constantly expanding my interest through my sense of awe and wonder whenever my husband and I seek out the next hike, or just explore the backroads of Chilliwack. Wherever I go, there always is inspiration and beauty to be found when I seek it out.
