Hi friend! Glad you're here. I'm Katelyn, and I am an artist from the Lower Mainland, BC. My passion is for art that reflects the beauty around us and what it makes us feel. I find inspiration from this wild and beautiful place.

Through my childhood, I grew up surrounded by forests and farmland, which inspired many drawings and sketches of the beauty I saw. Since then I have expanded my interests from drawings in my sketchbook to large paintings of new mediums.

 

My life right now is a bit all over the place. Currently, you could call me an artist, tree planter or a high school teacher in training, and all of these things would be true! You could say my time tree planting in Northern British Columbia for 3 seasons ignited my love for the outdoors of BC even more; thus beginning this journey where I am now. I am constantly expanding my passion for art through my sense of awe and wonder, whenever my husband and I seek out the next hike, or just explore the backroads of Chilliwack. Wherever I go, there always is inspiration and beauty to be found when I seek it out.
